i personally clean one room and have a break and then go to the next room and so on,honestly i dont know how i make it at work but at home i can only do room by room then take a break

My usual is one room, break than another. Sometimes multiple breaks per room, like dust...break...vacuum...break. I try to keep things neat so that I just have to clean, not straighten.

Yeah, I need to do some cleaning....

i have a maid come in twice a month. so in between its easier. and lots of breaks.

I've learned to not be so particular about the level of cleanliness. Also helps that my kids are out of the house.

I try to do one major thing a day. Like, laundry is one day, vacuuming the next. And I get help too, because sometimes I just can't handle it.

I also usually try to just a few things a day on those really slow days. Somethings just have to be overlooked sometimes! giggles I also take lots of breaks.

When I was working I had a cleanerr come evey week. There still was picking up during the week to do. Now that I am home this year we fired the cleaners and my husband helps A LOT. Our 2 kids now have chores which include putting toys, etc. away when you are done with them. Even with that our house will not be spottless...we have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. I can usually overlook the areas that r not spotless, until I watch 'Wife Swap' and one of the moms cleaned everyday. That was once me. My goal today was to clean up the entire house, but that went by the wayside. Maybe tomorrow.
Try not to stress about it.

i have adjusted to the lived in look..grin.. and put away alot of things..donated alot of things...less things out...less to clean..smile..and like others..one room at a time...or one room a day..sigh..

Lowered my standards of cleaning. Hubby pitched in. That's about all.

DO ONE THING A DAY, IF YOU HAVE HTE ENERGY TO DO MORE, THAN DO SOMETHING SMALL, LIKE CLEAN OUT A SHELF OR SPICE CAB. BUT DONT WEAR YOURSELF OUT TO THE POINT THAT YOU HAVE A SPOTLESS HOUSE, AND NO ENERGY TO ENJOY IT.
ALSO LET PEOPLE HELP IF THEY OFFER, YEAS YOU COULD SWEEP A RUG FOR ME.
I WOULD DO IT FOR SOMEONE AND YOU PROBLAY WOULD TOO IF YOU HAD A FRIEND IN THE SAME SITUATION.

My husband does some, my elderly mom does some, I roll around and give orders. We get a maid once a month for getting things really clean. Lately I'm doing better and am trying to do some work myself, at least what I can from my chair.

MY MOM HELPS ME TOO! SHE IS 74, BUT MOVES AROUND LIKE A 30 YEAR OLD. RETIRED LABOR AND DELIVERY NURSE. AND NOW SHE HELPS ME PLUS MY BROTHER AND SISTER IN LAW WITH 4 KIDS! SELFLESS IS THE BEST WORD TO DESCRIBE MY MOM. CURRENTLY I JUST CLEAN LITTLE BITS AT A TIME. CLEANING LADY SOUNDS EXPENSIVE, AND WOULD LOVE ONE. BUT MY HUSBAND IS VERY PRIVATE AND WOULD NOT WANT ANY ONE IN THE HOUSE PUTTERING (CLEANING).

My mom is 87, has mild dementia, and doesn't make any decisions for herself, but she is physically healthy and loves to clean up the kitchen and sweep the floor. She also makes my bed every day. She helps me--I help her.

Can't do too much cleaning lol...i work part-time and the days i'm home, i sleep or run with the kids...
laundry is the worst...up and down the stairs..a little at a time i guess....

I try to do something everyday, take lots of breaks, etc...I love Margie's "lower my standards of cleaning", I am totally on the same wavelength! I usually try to do one room at a time so I don't bite off too much. Of course, seeing the state of my house currently, it looks like I haven't even sat up to the table! LOL!
