This isn't really bipolar related but there is never anyone on the parenting groups, this is the most active group I've been in.
My 6yr old son has really bad seasonal allergies and they're in full force right now. He gets a terrible cough; he coughs all day and all night, making it hard for him to sleep, and his nose runs.
I've tried every allergy medicine, OTC and RX, and none of them affect his cough very much. I just can't stand to hear him cough so bad, I know he doesn't feel well.
So I wanted to know, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can help him feel better (other than putting him in a bubble)?

I've raised six kids with one ailment after another. if it is allergies you could try a de humidifier in his room and anti allergy bedding pillows and mattress.
keep carpets and curtains to a minimum and dust the room daily.
hope that helps and didnt make to hard reading
