Sorry for going missing & not being able to get any message but didnt haave internet at all.
I ended up going into hospital by ambulance on Sept 23 & had majot surgery following day. originally they were going to try to clear me out the following day but when they chcked me at 10am was scheduled for emergency surgery & was in by12. Was not back in room till after 6pm.
I encec up with part of small bowel being removed, bowel& ashesions being all mixed up & lots of damage so major surgery. Was in lot of pain with morphine pump for few days then oral pain killers & eventually pain patches which took a few days to work.
Then I got an infection & they couldnt identify it with lots of tests. Then I gott pneumonia which turned into doulble pneumonia. Infectione ended up a esistasuperbug & resistant to antibiotics. By this time I was in icu in very bad way & scaring heck out of hubby & family.
Needless to say I had a horror trip for last 6 weeks & glad to be home.
diverticular disease was part of it & ms flared up.
Also had what is probably 2 fits & also fell out of bed which could have been from one too.
Will try & update more later.

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

I did have some very bad times as you understand I only put the basics that I could in it
My brain is still fuzzy.
A couple of good things that have come out of it is that I am now on patches & after it took the first dew to work fully my pain levels have lowered dramatically & mainly just take panadol & panadol osteo to help so far. I cant believe the difference not being in pain all the time has made already - thats ignoring the tummy pain from surgery.
Apart from already knowing how good hubby is my Mum has finally realised how much I have been struggling health wise & actually visited me more (icu scared teh %%**) out of her. She also talked to hubby better, phoned him up & chatted & tried to understand the stress he was under. Some other friends also really came though with a lot more support - contact through text messages on mobiles. That was my only contact method.
I am glad I am through the other side of it. Prayer sure helped me & often I was just crying out to God to get me through whatever they were doing/was happening too. Lots of painful procedures etc.
Thanks for hugs & messages too, much appreciated.
Hope things continue to improve for you.

One who had said she was bringing over vegetable soup has already changed mind, Has put it in the freezer as is too busy with grandkids who have chicken pox! another who said she would come over today has already rang & said sorry something else has come up so she wont so to come over. Doesnt look good so far.
Glad hubby is a good support regardless though keeps referring to himmself as "my slave" which is frustrating.
