I'm really struggling now. I can't seem to remember anything. Someone will tell me something, and almost immediately I forget what they said or asked me. It totally bewilders me and is frustrating for my family members. I use sticky notes and have a notebook that I write important things down, but it seems to be the everyday issues that I forget and can't remember. This is affecting my family and work life. Does anyone else have this problem and could it be related to MS cognitive problems?

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

I myself have this promble it is a part of my ms it happens to me while I am in a relapse. Could you be having a relapse. I would call the neuro today to let them know it is getting worst or it happening if they don't know about it. It is very annoying when this happen my neuro once told me it the way the brain protects ifrom further damage. If you have a ms nurse call her she may be able to help you as well. Please let me know how you are going.
Take care Mel
Mel, I feel like I've been in a relapse for several months now. This certainly could be it too because it seems like the problem has been magnetized since my whole health started deteriorating. Again, I will be seeing my neuro this week, and this whole subject will be on my agenda. If I remember...seriously, I'm taking notes with me. Need to follow my own advice sometimes! Thanks for the note.
That started when I had my bottle in hand and was going to take one, my wife asked me a question I turned around to answer and could'nt remember if I just took one, next to fatigue that is at the top, same reason I have a GPS in the car, maybe a voice recorder would help and all you have to remember is to use it, I used one for qite a while I use it when things stop getting done my wife thinks it's selective sometime sorry to disappoint her.
It is scarey I know I can be in conversation and either I forget what Its about or cant spit out what I want to add...it all seems to hard..If you get any help when you see Dr please share cause it is driving me crazy too, I get so I dont bother joining in conversations incase it gets me again ........
I feel so antisocial because its embarrasing...I feel like a fool
Koda, I understand your response to keeping up in conversation totally! I often do the same thing myself. What gets me in trouble most is my daugter asking meif she can go somewhere and I totally forget where//when/how and my husband gets mad. If the doctor suggests something Thursday I will let everyone know. Thanks for the note.
