Dietary and vitamins supplements for MS
I was searching for a medication consultation in Toronto for my mother, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I guess she is allergic to some compound in her medicines she starts scratching herself when she takes her medicine. So, I was looking for an alternative. One of my friends suggested the compound medications, that he once used for his father suffering from TBI. So, I started to get some answers. I wanted to know if this was safe for her.
I started searching on the internet, and I came to know a lot about them. This is something I found on the dietary and vitamins supplements while I was searching- http://www.bluerosepharmacy.com/blog/general-category/dietary-and-vitamin-supplementation-advice-for-multiple-sclerosis/
This seemed promising and genuine. So, I wanted to share this with you people. Has anyone here also found something fascinating like this. Would you like to share some of your insights?

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

Magnesium is also very, very helpful. Most of the population has a deficiency in it. Years ago, when I had terrific spacticity in my leg muscles (Charley horses/cramps unbearable), my doctor had put me on a pharmaceutical which didn't seem to phase it much. When I found articles on magnesium, I stopped bothering with the scrip and found the magnesium citrate worked miracles for me. just grabbing any mg supplement off the shelf will cause an extreme laxative effect though. It has to be magnesium citrate or malate or even citrate/malate. Time released is best/convenience-wise, but more costly, so I take the mg citrate. I find swansonvitamins.com is decent for me.
On the Vitamin D, the one that's best is D3. Most MS people are deficient since the only way to get that is to let the sun do it's magic on the skin, and that reaction creates the D3 our bodies are lacking.
I just started taking Moringa mustard green powder and it's supposed to be an Asian miracle cure so I thought, why not? I have primary progressive. My research on supplements is ongoing as there is always new information. For info on magnesium, the doctors I learned from were Carolyn Dean MD, Mark Hyman MD, and more.
Astragalus is supposed to be very good, I'm going to create a list of supplements and how they are helpful. Exercise and diet are extremely important though, and taking the supplements regularly. I could go on for days here but I'll digress for now. So happy you're looking into things to help your mom.♥
