I want to try and word this properly .... I'm not talking about not enough intake necessarily ... With the SO many things that can happen w/ MS I'm curious if anyone has this happen to them. OK ....
Example; On just about any part of my body this can happen to it.
The clothes I have on,jeans shorts ect ... to cross my legs it leaves the mark of wrinkled clothes and will leave the indent for sometimes up to 1 hour.I can lay my arm on the table and my bracelets will leave that indent on my skin again it to can be there for up to at least 1 hour.
I did try this just to see how long I would have to leave my arm there to get these indents and can count up to ten and the marks be there for up to 30 mins. or so. So my ? is has any of you noticed any thing like this w/ your skin?? Clearly It has something to do with how my body takes in and gets rid of fluid.Just wondering if it could lead to other un answered ?'s ....
This has been going on for some time now.I try to keep a good intake on fluids and don't necessarily feel dehydrated. It's just yet another odd thing that seems to happen to me and want to know if indeed others have had this.
Thanks in Advance = Trying not to be annoying ....

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

Good luck.
I blame my skin issues on the steroids. I've seen what they did to my mother over her lifetime and am thankful she was able to come off of them. I also have noticed what they did to my skin. I'm glad I decided to refuse them for the future. Unless I'm in the middle of a severe case of pneumonia or something, I will never consent to them again.
Anyway, I hope you figure out what's going on. I do try to remember that not all fluids are equal. Caffeine dehydrates so as much as some people will say that fluids are fluids, I don't believe they are all equal. I try to stay on top of my water consumption.
Now with MS takin away much of my abilities and I wear good make-up on for a week or so, It makes me kinda wish to get to be able to get it off sometimes and use her love of Oil of Olay too.
But honestly they didn't have make-up like Sisley's Eye Concealer with Botanical Extracts in it, back then. Just a dab of this stuff stays on and looks like I'm perfectly healthy, not all drawn out like I feel inside! I know it's kinda overpriced but this tub has lasted me for 3 years so far and theres tons still in it!! It's a GREAT present to be gotten!!!!!
For color, Iget for myself the underpriced NARS things. So far I still look like 20 somethin without wrinkles unless I'm frownin or somethin...
OK sorry I know this topic was about dehydration. All I really say about that is that I do tend to drink some water everyday. I do still get wrinkles from any clothing held long to my skin for hours too. I'm not sure if water we intake has anythin to do with it.
it is called edema. When you are leaving marks like you are it is called pitted edema.
Make an appointment with your Family Doc asap
while most edema is harmless it can point to a more serious health problem.
Don't mean to scare you but you really need to get this looked into
hope things go well
any wrinkles from pillow marks, resting arms on table,etc...and the wrinkle takes for ever to go away.
