Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. For those interested, this is not Vit D from the chemist, but prescribed by doctor.
Thanks for sharing some hope!
What sucks about this is the constant blood draws. I have very bad veins and there is great difficulty around these blood draws.
Has this helped?
I honestly cannot say that taking all of this vitamin D for the past 3 years has done a thing really -- pain is still bad and overall disease has certainly not improved.
So, ? is my reply to this.
We need MORE research not padded by only the greedy pharmaceutical companies. We are their cash cows and they know it!
Best wishes to you.

PS I am so glad in the last year or two there seems to be a divergence from all MS research being done on the immune system to looking at other areas. The gut can trigger the immune system so GI and bacteria are a great place to look. Fat (in some with MS) and amino acid levels are abnormal in those with MS. I think looking at Brain neurochemistry HAS to be looked at to find out why glutamate is so high (which will cause mito malfunction). I appreciate all these researchers looking outside the box to find answers. If anyone of them finds data to regress this disease we are all winners.
