Community Leaders are here to encourage member interaction, member involvement, and help foster a sense of community. What we do is greet new members, respond to unanswered posts (or bump them), and curtail abuse.

This group is gigantic and you deserve a break. I wish I could suggest someone. I nominated you and some others in the first place. But one of them has left the site and the other is not on the site often now. But the dedication it takes is hard to do and you definitely need someone who works well with you. Perhaps you will have to think of someone who is on the site often and you work well with. Not I; I piss off people sometimes so it has to be someone who is a peacemaker like you. It will be tough.

I'm so pleased that so many folks are in agreement that almairis (Alma) would be a wonderful choice for co-community leader! Like so many of our members we have, I value her positiveness and dedication to this board, and that is what is needed to be a good community leader.

I have "nominated" her to Daily Strength and await their positive reply. This process takes time, but hopefully soon we will see a welcome post to Alma!

    I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital.  I don't think that we will have her much longer.  She is very frail.  Now she needs help eating.  So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying.  I think crying releases toxins into my body.  I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
