My neighbor yelled at me and my wife for not shoveling snow the other day at 9am.i can barely shovel if it's over 25 pounds I shake get dizzy and used to pass out. Also have pain. It interferes with me barely working this past year since I can't lift most things and just standing sometimes makes me dizzy and nauseous. What can I do call the cops and tell her to leave us alone? I can shovel if I do it very slowly after the storms over. This girl wants me to shovel for her basically because I'd be doing it all the time if she doesn't. And to sovel for the girl downstairs that has a dog A ND has to crap. Apparently she has something too but won't say anything on what it is. She said she doesn't care and I'm young and she's 53 years old and can do it. I get that that's what's sad. I want to do it too but not early mornings to wake up for people if th eery have to leave they can shovel i feel. Not going out with MS multiple times a day so that it will be less heavy every few ho ur s so I can do it. Thoughts?? Landlord never had me sign a lease or anything so what can I do about it just tell her I'll do what I can when I leave?

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

It's always hard to accept the fact that I can't do things I used to so before ignoring them I usually cry, cuss, etc. and try to remind myself to ignore in the first place!
something w/information
((((hugs))))
i know it is very difficult to have an invisible disability
ADA? maybe there is some sort of community assistance available to all of you there? even volunteers : )
when my mother was staying with me here? i found a group in our town who had high school students that volunteered for various things. they cleaned house for some people who were so elderly or ill they couldn't do it themselves - we didn't need this, but some people did and these precious kids did it. they mowed lawns, or took out the garbage. this, that and the other thing.
for my mother, a sweet girl came over and went for walks with her; i was too sick to do that.
my point being, these kids put these volunteer works on college applications but they also cheerfully came and helped. it is so surprising the help that can be available - astonishing. the kids are going to be out having fun in the snow - right? why not shovel your driveway first?? they WANT TO. you only need to connect with them somehow.
you can put an ad - a free ad on your local craigslist asking for volunteers to do it - there is a volunteer section.
it is worth a look. you can ask your local agency on aging - it doesn't matter that you are not a senior, they will happily give you information. also, the fire department OR the police department - just call the non emergency number - or 211.
