Just wondering if anyone else out there also has fibromyalgia? Now, i dont know whats causing the pain... is it a lupus flare or the fibro. Also my blood test have been "normal" according to my doc lately so does that mean i'm in remission? just a bit confused.
How do you maintain your identity when dealing with health issues... How do you remember who you are when for so long you are just a symptom?

I have no answers but I have both. I just found out on Friday when I asked my doctor why I still couldn't walk steps and still feel sick and have no energy when my blood tests have been good for a long time. He said because you have fibromyalgia I told him I had no idea I had that too. He said it was like my rynauds and other things you just get with lupus. I was dumbfounded. I am still like what is going on and why was I just told now and how long have I had both and is that why my lupus meds are not working for the other problems. I can walk again because that was lupus but I am confused. I will research this for all of us who get to suffer with both and post on my blog. This will def be my next post. xoxo

I to have found out I have Fibro, might explain some of the muscle pain, n pressure point torture.. etc....

DSRM, I cant remember who i am, n, not sure of an identity anymore.... I have so many illness names attached to me now,... I think, I will just call myself weird.....Hmmm...

I have both, too, plus other illnesses. It gets to a point where I don't know which one is flaring. Is it Lupus?...is it Fibro? or is it both at the same time? One thing I do know is the pain is not fun!

At least we are not alone I just hate to see everyone else suffer. Seek, your posts were echoed because what you say is so important!! HEHE! I will start on that new post today or tomorrow have been so busy with doc appts and life and heating pad therapy! I go to my gener prac pain specialist today so I get to complain to someone who loves to hear exactly where and what. I hope you are all feeling a little better to but my diseases are screaming today, I think it is the cold weather here in PA.
