Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. Recently I have gone through multiple breakups and rejections and I have never been able to figure out the reason that the people rejecting me have been doing so. I ask them and they always say that it is nothing to do with me but it has been happening consistently so I feel that I am the common denominator in the situation and so the issue lies with me. They have told me that it is not because I’m not pretty enough or smart enough or entertaining enough and it is not to do with my personality and they don’t know what it is about me. I’m very worried that I will never figure out what is wrong with me and that I am just completely unlovable. I have been worrying recently that I will end up unmarried, alone and unloved forever. These thoughts have been taking their toll on me and I have been struggling with my will to live as a life of loneliness is not one I would want to live.
My friends tell me not to worry about it because I'm only 19, I’m young and I have time but that is easier said than done.
Note: Sorry if this is disturbing to anyone and too much for the forum

The thing is we need to love and take care of ourselves first before others can treat us well and love us
lovingmyselfirst - I'd more so say I'm looking for validation. I think I do love myself. I look in the mirror and I see a successful, beautiful, intelligent young girl and I know that on paper I am enough. But maybe that's not what self love is?
If you are down on yourself and depressed alot then that tends to push others away.

To put you and your well-being back on track and in a better balance, practice saying three positive things to you in the mirror every morning and again every night. Remind yourself of three things you do each and every day for you. Stand up, pull the shoulders back, and smile until you are comfortable. Remember this when you feel overwhelmed.
I hope this helps you. Find who you are! Do things that you enjoy!
Mid - That's some good, practical advice, thank you. The three positive things I have chosen are that I am: hard-working, committed to my goals and successful
