I don't know where to turn

I dont have any money in the bank at all, practically, and I have a serious problem. My family wont support me and doesn't believe me; even though I've had serious signs that I'm not imagining these things.. such as my eyes turning blood red, having a very high temperature, and being in extreme pain at one point. (even strange things in my bowels)

Long story short, I have parasites and I really need treatment but I researched and brain surgery or opening up my skull to remove what this growth I'm feeling in my head will cost several hundred thousand dollars.

I don't know what to do besides getting the surgery done in a foreign country. I was wondering how do hospital payments usually work? and how does getting medical treatment in a foreign country work? I may have to save some money but I only have ever made minimum wage my entire life. I don't know what to do or who to turn to. I dont have a job really and I have no money coming in at all.

What are my options besides paying this off for the rest of my life?
I'm really in a tough spot.

are you serious? I am assuming your doctor has said that surgery is the way to handle this? I am not sure what to do about the money issue except to say find a way to get insurance....it is requirement of this type of surgery...they will not finance you for that amount without a way to pay....so you are not going to be paying this the rest of your life....what type of parasite? I know trichinosis is from pork and it is worms that can invade the brain....but that is the only thing I know of like that....but surely you have medical opinions on what to do and are not assuming your own medical care and options....

oh harveydent, I don't mean to laugh but are you serious?

In the first place your symptoms need to be diagnosed by a physician. That is probably why your family doesn't believe you - you can't diagnose yourself.

Secondly, you are asking how to save a fortune without a job.
Guess what - it can't be done.

So - first step is to see a local doctor and find out what is causing your symptoms. Then you talk to your family about what the doctor has found. Good Luck

I was cleaning fleas out of my house and they bit me. I soon learned it was too many for me to handle so I got overwhelmed by them and bitten all over.. I ran out the room. Flea larvae got into my ear while I was sleeping and crawled into my brain... a whole bunch of them. I knew because my ears were stopped up with mucus and I felt lots of crawling going around in my ears and nasal cavity. Soon after I started to have blood red eyes and began being in extreme pain and that's when I started to feel a growth forming in my head. I'd rather not get into what happened afterwards but it's pretty obvious I'm infected with something.

Also, heretic please shutup because you offer no useful advice, you don't know the whole situation and you're an asshole in lots of peoples posts.

Generally you can go to the ER and they will treat you first and ask for money afterwords. If you think its serious that's what I would do.

Harvey is trying to extort money from people in the group everybody. Dont give it to him. He is a hoax. Who wouldnt want a little pocket change of 100's of thousands of dollars. He is targeting us lonely people, lying to us and to feel sorry for him. Well Harvey, it's not gonna work in this group or DS!

I havent asked anyone for any money. I asked for a solution to my problem, not money. However it's pretty mean for you last 2 to come in and make fun of my problem.

Also with a bit more research.. the several hundred thousand dollar amount I got was someones messed up visit to the emergency room. The other number I'm getting is that it can easily total up to 120K+ for the surgery and everything uninsured.

Either way... since I'm not going to get help here I guess.. I'm done.

Harvey - I have never heard of fleas infesting a home like you describe. Second, according to your posts, you have no idea what's wrong with you. You haven't been to a doctor. Third, there is no way we can solve your money problems. Without a job and no family support, you can get medicaid and it will take care of your medical problems,

P.S. There are numerous people out there with no money and no insurance yet they get excellent free medical care.

Chldren playing in sandboxes that have been visited by cats have ended up dying from worm eggs they ingested that got into their brains. I also knew directly of a child on a camping trip that had a bug fly into her ear (the adults had no idea why she started screaming) and she was taken to the E R in intense pain, where the bug was removed. Otherwise harmless insects and their larvae can actually end your life under some circumstances.

Start eating lots of raw garlic, and get at least three evaluaitons from three different doctors. If they refer you for mental help, even if you're sure they are overlooking the real problem, try that too, if you really want to get to the bottom of things.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years.
