wish i knew what to tell you.
there are online dating sites---where the women, no matter what their profile, supposedly, get lots and lots of responses, with men on other sites complaining how they never get a response back.
why not be selfish, and use such sites, with lots of lonely men willing to just listen to a woman talk of their problems. even phone conversations can be better than typing. maybe that, if only to get it out your system, will lead to something better.
good luck.
All people are worthy of love. I agree with koolman, that earthy, fleshy lust is not for me, but the loneliness is worse over the holidays. Having had love, the pain of not having it is greater, but with projects and hobbies, as well as my job, I manage not to think about it much. There are many different forms of love. For example, I love my car, not in the same way I love my children, or loved my husband.
You are worthy!
I think herectic is aware that we all need love. I think what is being asked is whether or not she/he is worthy of love. (Sorry, I don't know the gender.) Your points are good ones, but I think she's asking a different question.
There is absolutely no reason why you would not be worthy of love, unless you are cruel and evil to people anytime they come near you. It sounds as if you have a few things to iron out.
You may not know exactly how to build loving relationships and maintain them, and have been using the wrong tactics. You will have to work diligently to learn this.
Your feelings of doubt about your worth may be coming across in your relationships, which can scare people away. Getting into the habit of concentrating on the things you like about yourself and that others like about you, will build your confidence.
You may not be getting out enough in order to meet people. Once you embrace your good qualities, search to find others like you who would appreciate them. Start small and work your way up to bigger groups. Don't give up over a few rejections.
Also, remember that this is a long journey, so don't expect change overnight. If you manage your expectations, you'll find yourself there before you realize it.
