I am new to this site, and it has been a bit of some help for me, since I am going through a divorce. I have become so lonely. Even though I have a great support team around me, it doesn't help at night or on weekends. I am starting to believe that I will never meet anyone new, and yet it was so easy for him to met someone and move on. I have become an emotional wreck. I starting going to conseling, and joined the gym.... But I still can't get him off my mind.... Even knowing he has moved on.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. Try to delibrately set up things to do for yourself in the evenings and on the weekends-keeping busy is a big distraction..but knowing that your ex has moved on should tell you that he was definitely not Mr right!
And in time you will never know when-till it happens, you will find Mr Right! In the meantime you have to live for you! Make yourself a life worth living-a brand new start!
Knowing he has moved on can consume you from moving on yourself. We dont know what caused the divorce but I live by something I tell a lot of people....you cant stress over what you cant control. I know, easier said then done. Having too much time on your hands can cause you to think of thoughts that are either toxic or not real.
Coming on here is your first step to knowing you are lonely. I just started posting and have had some great support.
You said you want to enjoy life again. Dont let him be the reason you dont. Plan a weekend getaway with friends or for yourself. Go back to your hobbies, have a friend over for dinner. Whatever it is find that person inside you that knows how to have fun. You dont need to try and keep busy all the time because you do need to grieve but each day it will get better.
I'd say try to join a support group that you can go in person and talk to and chat with other people and be around them. Support is pretty amazing.
