I am a bisexual. I am not polysexual. I am attracted to one person at a time. Right now it is women that I want to be with but a lot of women make it hard to be with them.

I am not attracted to that most women. I have looked at women in general and see most women as not anyone that I would be interested in. In a couple of a man or a woman in a film, for example, one time I may be more attracted to the woman and another time, more attracted to the man.

But right now, I am seeing a woman. She is a full lesbian. She doesn't like hearing that I am a bisexual. I basically say that now I am attracted to women only. True for the most part because I do not fantasize about men, only women.

I identify as bi. I've had meaningful sexual relationships with males and females. I think it's less about the gender and more about the person for me. If you connect with someone and they excite your heart and you want to express that, you just have to be open to working with whatever equipment they are born with. I find both sexes attractive in their own ways and would never let someone's genitalia determine if they would be a good partner for me. For me, it's all about connecting.

I have heard people say that Bi is not really an orientation and I often times wonder if we are going thru the labels...
For me bi personally is not a stage just as been gay or lesbian or a transgender is not a stage...it's who we are...
Bi's usually love people irrespective of their gender, it's about loving humanity in totality...
To answer your question if one can truly be bi...then yes...

I think it's a common experience for lesbian women to have been hurt by bisexual women. To some extent I can agree with @chicadee. Anyone of any orientation is capable of hurting you. However, the problem with bisexual women is the whole "flipping the script" business just as @Ceecil mentioned. I think one of the most hurtful things bi women can tell you upon breakup is that she wants/needs a man or she's no longer into women. It's devastating because she's capable of making a reason that inherently disfavors you.

I honestly believed in bisexual women wholeheartedly. Hell, I've even planned out the rest of my life with one. However, she flipped the script on me too. So you can say I've learned my lesson. However, that is not to say I discredit the authenticity of anybody being truly bisexual. If I met another bisexual woman and we hit it off, I'm not gonna push her away but I'll be cautious. I guess what counts is her commitment, I wouldn't care if she was attracted to men for as long as she knows whom to come home to.
