Irritable bowel syndrome is a common intestinal disorder that is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cramping, and constipation. Typically no abnormalities appear during standard medical testing, and so irritable bowel syndrome is identified by the symptoms. Although irritable bowel syndrome can cause serious discomfort, the intestines are not harmed.
I'm sooooo sick of it.....I have tried it all.....I don't think there's a solution for this illness.....dealing with my toilet being my best friend/food my enemy is bringing me to tears...after years/years of this crap-I was always just frustrated...now tears have taken over...it's pathetic....chicken, fish, orange, apple, broth, jello...it doesn't frickin matter what I eat...I think I will settle for a feeding tube....I can't have my stomach interrupt me when I'm at work, driving, or trying to get out the door...I'm so sick of hearing from idiots---well, what did u eat? Try fiber!.....I am healthy, excuse me...I drink tons/tons/tons of water, no pop, no junk food, no candy....5'8 & 135. Clean out your ears/listen-or keep your ignorant comments to yourself....it's got nothing to do with my age, weight, attitude, diet, or exercise....I don't think I will ever know or ever have an answer...I can't deal with food anymore...If I can go 32 without eating, then I'm going to try orange juice/who knows what now...this is maddening...I feel horrible for all else in the world suffering with this...is torture....it sucks...align helped a little bit...but not completely.....maybe it was something else that helped....too hard to pinpoint anything.

ibs D is bad but ihave C and go without the bathroom for even 10 days, the pain is so bad, right know im laying in my sofa with pain gas and couldt go all the way, i dont know wich one is worst but both sound very bad. hope u feel better

IBS is bad either D or C. Feel bad for you because I have had intestinal pain with the D as well. Not fun. I haven't gone out to eat that much yet to see how the Bentyl is working. I wish you the best.

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax.
