Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Things that make you go hmmmm
Pink, if it's flowering but not setting fruit you might not have enough pollinators. You could try touching the stem just above the flower with an electric toothbrush...it vibrates at about the same speed as a bee's wings.
so I will try this trick also for my 'mator plant. Poor little thing.
Pink, seems I am good company with you? Fiber has a way with plants.

I just wanted to add that I totally understand someone's opinion that such a relationship is not valid until it is based somehow in the real world. I actually agree with this. I was never under the impression that the relationship was at a fully developed stage, it was always just potential.
However, I have been talking to this person for 4 months, everyday online, for up to 3 or 4 hours. It is not just some mails every couple of days. I am certain that the major parts of her life that I see are real. Of course, there are things online that can be hidden. I don't see everything, but I would argue this is also the case in the real world.
Also, she was honest about the cheating, she didn't want to hide it from me. I don't feel like the wool is been pulled over my eyes at all. I feel the same insecurity that people feel at the beginning of any relationship.
I'm not saying that the relationship had reached the level of intimacy that occurs in real life. Far from it. But there is a level of attachment between us that allowed for me to be hurt by her being with somebody else. Whether it can be labelled cheating or not doesn't matter.
I think what matters is that we both were aware that being intimate with somebody else was going to hurt the other person and betray what level of attachment and trust we had.
I don't want to give the impression that I thought my online relationship was fully developed. It is just something I feel had massive potential and I assure you my feelings were real.
I had probably allowed myself to have too many feelings for an online relationship. I should have held back and waited until we met.
To be honest, I was more jealous then hurt, I wanted to be with her, Somebody else was able to be there before me.
I have no idea if when I meet her the same level of connection will be there. It might not be.
But the feelings were valid and it was a betrayal of my trust. She was aware of the situation so it matters not that it was online.
And I firmly believe you can get to no somebody online and have a relationship on some level. A large part of any relationship is the sharing of information between 2 people. Of course there is the issue of whether the information is real or not but this is also an issue in the real world.
I'm not sure who said it in the previous posts, but they said the relationship I have is only potential, I fully agree with that. I don't see it as being fully real, but there are enough real elements that there is a real connection between us and it is worth investigating it.
I appreciate all the comments, thank you.
