Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Not sure what to do here. I'm torn. I've been married going on 5 years this summer. IT's not a terrible marriage, just boring. My husband has zero sex drive, and I don't see that changing. It's not that he can't he just doesn't want it. We have sex maybe 2x a year out of what feels like obligation on his part, and it maybe lasts 5 minutes.
I recently started a new job and there is a guy on my team that has expressed serious interest in me. I ws taken aback. He's 8.5 yrs younger, and extremely good looking. He knows I'm married with a kid, and knows this is tough for me.
My question is this, what do I do? I want something for me. This whole thing makes me want to scream and cry.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
I get that you like the attention from the younger guy at work, but I would advise not to do anything hasty. You don't want to lose your job. You don't really know this guy... he could get weird on you, stalk you, or claim you sexually harassed him at work... he could have an STD.... I mean, you need to think clearly and carefully before doing anything drastic. You have a child to think about. Once you cross that line, you can never take it back ever. I would just encourage you to wait and think about the whole situation in your life.
Encourage your husband to get a full physical. There could be a medical reason why he has zero sex drive at his age. Or, maybe he drinks, smokes pot, is depressed, etc. Would be helpful for you to know the reason.
Try to fix your marriage first. Don't add any more problems by looking outside your marriage.... Unless... you are seriously going to divorce him and work out child custody, living arrangements, etc. If you want to divorce, then that's certainly your choice. I would just try some of these other things first.
I wish you the best.
Are there no single women his age to pursue?
I would wonder if he is the office Lothario who is more interested in adding another notch to the bedpost than interest in me.
Get him a physical and you both in therapy!
