Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I guess I should update everyone a bit. I found out about her infidelity in December 2009 and we separated at the end of that year. The divorce was finalized in November 2010. We still text each other about every 2 weeks or so and actually talk on the phone maybe once every two months. She says she is quite miserable without me too, but I can't believe anything she says.
Maybe it's still too early, but I struggle every single day with all this and everything that has happened. I have anxiety and depression. I am constantly worrying and I don't know how to calm myself and be more at peace? I wasn't always like this. Before this all happened, I was really quite happy, energetic, and motivated. Now I am just drowning in sorrow. Losing my job has added to my anxiety greatly. :(
Please stick with me guys and help me. I really need all the help I can get. Thanks for listening. I appreciate all your help. :)
This hurt me a lot (which I let her know and she didn't seem too worried about it)and it now, looking back, it makes me feel like I am a failure when it comes to judging character.
Ugh, i don't know? It just hurts. :(
You have been dealt a hard blow. And though you feel like everything has been taken from you you will find you are gaining strength slowly as days pass. Before mine fell apart I was not on anti depressants but with continual spiraling downward I was prescribed medication that has helped. Along with a councelor, I hope you chose to find one for you, and a support system here you will find there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Take Care and God Bless
I'm beginning to finally realize that she has more issues than I thought or could see. Love is blind and I guess I chose to look past a lot of things because I loved her so much. If nothing else, I tried my best and gave it all I had. It's just a hard lesson to learn. I wish it didn't have to happen.
With the help of time, I'll be ok though. :)
Don't feel bad cause you had to move back home. My hubby and I had to get on state assistance - Medicaid and Food Stamps for the first time in our life. Our home will be foreclosed soon and looks like we may just be living in a small travel camper - but hey we will have a roof over our head!
Keep your chin up!
