Snailbug - congrats so happy for you!
Fsugrad - the waiting period is almost done! Wed right?? Good luck!
I had my retrieval yesterday and they were able to get 13 eggs. They called me today and said out of 13 they were able to fertilize 9 and 8 fertilized normally. Im still trying to figure out the numbers and whats good or not, but Im thinking this is good! Im getting excited! Im unsure as to when my transfer will be, but they will keep me updated as to whether it will be a 3 day or 5 day. Keeping my fingers crossed! Looks like everyone is coming along great !
The waiting is torture but I'm hanging in there. The big day is Thursday! Been having weird numb/pain in my left arm and swollen hands. Fertility nurse never heard of those symptoms happening, but they are listed for both estrace and crinone. She wanted me to contact my primary physician and he wants to see me right away, so I go in tomorrow morning. Hopefully everything is ok :/
As for me triggered tonight retrieval Thursday! Wish me luck!
fsugrad: Oh my I hope everything is okay as well! I read up on that estrace and that medicine alone makes me nervous :/ Let us know how you are doing.
My advice is go with your gut on how many to transfer. We are thinking two at the moment but that may change when the time comes who knows. I am excited for you best wishes!!
Just an update on me had my retrieval this morning and they retrieved 22 eggs. So we'll see how they do from here, how they fertilize and grow and if they make it through the pgs and to the freeze and all that. We are hopeful though :)
As for me- out of my 22 eggs 12 fertilized correctly and we will get our next update in a few days to see how they progressed and how many make it to the next stage and then how many will make it to pgs and freeze. The numbers drop quickly so it's scary but we are hopeful.
Fsugrad- I am so sorry about the bfn :( I know it's heartbreaking. Keep your head up though your time is coming! Do you have plans going forward? You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Peytons: thank you! I am praying and hoping for a BFP!
As for me looks like another stim cycle round only three of the twenty two made it to the freezing stage and they haven't gone through the pgs yet so my dr. Is thinking stiming again and batching so we'll see at our next appt what gets decided.
