Not quite 2 weeks ago, my brother beat the hell out of me and raped me... among other things but I wont go into details in case of triggers. All I will say is it was the worst thing I have ever experienced in my life and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

I was sexually assaulted as a kid. I find it hard to accept that another person's actions caused me so much harm. He made bad choices and now I am paying the price. Stupid PTSD!

I note that (a) you are living with your mom, and (b) your husband just left you...I assume your husband was protection of sorts against your brother, and now is...shacked up with the GF instead...* sigh*
If you cannot get your brother arrested I think you should go to a domestic violence shelter. Or stay with friends. Or something. Get a restraining order and go somewhere beside your mom's.
I am assuming your mom is unwilling to protect you. Maybe I'm making an incorrect assumption on that? You NEED and DESERVE protection! Please please please go get it...
