Well I found it.Girl you did nothing wrong those people are FUCKED.Get off that site.It's a site for those who beleave in sex offenders and protects them.I could'nt beleave what I read.All anger towards you and not one of those people said two words about the safty of that child.I can see that child on this site in a few years,all because of her so called mother protecting that monster.For years my mother used to acuse I knew he done stuff to your sister and brothers but I never thought he'd touch you.So I can't understand how this mother would ever beleave he would touch other childeren and not his own.My thoughts are what is she doing that she keeps in the closet.Moms hiding something.Any ways girl just stay on this site you don't need those evil sick people clouding your thoughts.I stand behind you 100%

I'm sorry the response was so aggressive and hard on you, but I have to say 'Well done'. You are my champion for saying what you thought and then staying around to argue your corner.

You absolutely did not do anything wrong - quite the opposite. You did right.

Finally found it-(had to google that group name).

Those people are crazy! They are the people that make it easy for offenders to continue to offend. They coddle their spouses, sons, brothers and fathers. They "forgive and forget" living in denial about how sick the perpetrator was. The whole argument that they tried to say where "most" SO we're just 18 year olds dating their 17 year old classmates, is ridiculous. It's so rare for those things to actually go to trial and have a person convicted as a SO. Most SO are truly child abusers or rapists. Even my brother who molested and raped over 8 kids including me and my sister (boys and girls all at least 6 years younger than him) was sent to trial, convicted and sent away at age 14. However, once he got out his record was erased and he is a "free man" today with no criminal record and is not a registered SO. So if the legal system caNt get it right and convict and subsequently brand those types of offenders --the ones you and I have been hurt by- then I doubt they are doing much in the case of a 17/18 year old couple.

All I can say is you did great. That took a lot of courage. I can't believe how protective and defensive of sex abusers they are, especially how often they reoffend.

i read your posts, and i dont see where you did anythign wrong, everyone who has suffered, are not on the same level, some have great hatred, others are more passive about it , i saw both of those types in those threads, posts like that draw the best and worst out of some. this is a very emotional topic and it has a tendency to affect or stir alot of memories

Uggg that just made me so sad.

You know the language is all the same...I've heard it all 100 times. I do realize that from time to time an young adult has sex with someone underage (1 or 2 years younger) and find themselves on a sex offender registry. I know this sounds cold, but that is what happens when you make the choice to have sex with someone you don't know well enough to know their age.

I also do not feel sorry for anyone who ends up on a SOR for "accidentally" downloading child pornography. Accident my ass. And IF it was an accident why the hell didn't they call the authorities right that second and report the site they were able to download it from? And the offenders wife is upset because her child can't go on holiday with this man! OMG! Uggggggg!

It is all excuses. I stood in court over and over hearing this sort of crap and watching families believe it. Well I am so sorry, but if having a SOR saves one child then it is worth it.

Sweet Vicky, you were not the one with the problem. These people are so far into denial and delusions of victimization that they can not think rationally. You are the one thinking normally.

You went into the lion's den and were very courageous to stand up against their justifications.
That site is a very painful eye opener or reminder for those who already know only too well that mentality.So much denial and cover up of crimes in the name of "acceptance" and "forgiveness", specially around pathologically ill mothers.
