Human papillomavirus is a diverse group of DNA-based viruses that infect the skin and mucous membranes of humans. More than 100 different human papillomavirus (HPV) types have been characterized. Some HPV types cause benign skin warts, or papillomas, for which the virus family is named. HPVs associated with the development of such "common warts" are transmitted...

I've been really looking far and wide on google for alternative ways to help my body fight this virus, while i take care of the symptoms. Reading about things like red algae etc
With regards to the side of herb more so on http://www.facebook.com/daggacouple. and youtube where i found my first introduction that ACV might just work ...
But must admit finding it a very difficult battle to stop smoking regular cigarettes :( I cling to them like a crutch even though i know scientificly they do quite the opposite.
Finished my 3 day treatment yesterday and everything was raw and sore. Both had turned black and started to come out. Had a look today and it looks so much better. Both are gone and the skin is it's normal colour and not so tender anymore and my spirit is lifted in some way. Viva vit e/ tissue oil concoction! Probably gonna take another 2-3 days of healing. and then be on the alert again for another reocurrence ( i hope not!)
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is an effective natural bacteria-fighting agent that contains many vital minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, chlorine, sodium, sulfur, copper, iron, silicon and fluorine that are vital for a healthy body. Natural Apple Cider Vinegar is a wonderful natural cure for a number of ailments which usually require antibiotics and other medications that have a number of side effects.
Vitamin E can aid in the treatment of various skin diseases or skin conditions. Because of its antioxidant activity, Vitamin E is vital in protecting skin cells from ultra violet light, pollution, drugs, and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. It is believed that Vitamin E is most effective in its natural alcohol form rather than its acetate form where it is a less effective antioxidant.
Tea Tree Oil is a natural antibacterial disinfectant that was commonly used as a general antiseptic by the aborigine tribes for thousands of years. More recently, the scientific community has confirmed that Tea Tree Oil has tremendous medicinal benefits.
The benefits of olive leaf extract have been known throughout history as an immune booster and treatment for various tropical fevers. Olive leaves contain the amazing ability to eradicate viruses, fungi and bacteria.
Garlic is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral and is great for skin. "
Remember this process isn't the easiest in terms of pain. You do get use to it and after three days treatment it doesn't look to beautiful either but once it has healed it's like it was never there. So just keep your chin up!
I have been quite depressed earlier on but admittantly much better. Things seems to feel worse once you start treating them and the thought of the whole HPV issue just throws you down a dark deep hole.
I HAVE HAD THEM FOR A YEAR AND WERE VERY SMALL went to the doctor and they gave me Aldara ( 375 dollars ) for 3 months and it didn't work, i have tried baby cleaning wipes so i feel a bit cleaner but its the unconformable feeling you get.
Thank you for the tip :)
Never thought I'd find myself on a support blog, but I got my first anal wart two years ago and had no idea what it was until 6 months later. I read that the immune system could naturally get rid of them after a year or so but that never happened.
It wasn't until I stumbled on this forum that I read that ACV could work and that so many people have had success with it. I happened to have some lying around so I'm trying the ol' cotton ball method for the first time today.
The only person that knows is my doctor. He gave me Aldara a year ago and it didn't work. I got it before I met my current partner and found out what it was after I met him, but shame and embarrassment have kept me from telling ANYONE.
I'm hoping ACV works and that I can get back to a normal life.
Glad to know that there are other people out there that have had success. Wish me luck!
My mom was a nurse for over 17 years and we have a very close relationship so naturally I went to her for the answer. She knew what it was, but didn't tell me right away, and told me to go see a doctor. Turns out, she didn't tell me because she too had a certain stigma about the virus and wanted to do more research before talking to me about it. I went to a skin doctor, which was the dumbest decision ever made. He looked at me like I was disgusting, or that's the way I perceived it, and he froze it off with liquid nitrogen. I have a very high pain tolerance and it didn't sting too bad.
The showed up again, and I go to school 8 hours away (at the time I was home for break) and I can't even remember when, but the same wart came back. Naturally, being an incredible badass, I decided to buy Dr. Scholl's Liquid Nitrogen and kill the little demon myself. Oh, did I do some work down there and it did it hurt like hell for the next week or so, but everything was fine after. Some discoloration, but it has begun to go away.
I don't know what happened somewhere along the line...but they began to spring up everywhere a few weeks later. I had maybe two or three big warts all getting closer and closer to my anus. So I went to my university's medical center and they referred me to a colon-specialist in the area or specialist in something (I don't know medical jargon at all).
He looked up inside my anus and he also told me that I had one or two up in there and that I caught them early and they weren't too big. Then he suddenly told me they were going to put me under anesthesia and basically do a "minor surgery" on me. There wasn't even a talk of other treatment options first (which was interesting because I came on here and found that out). I went through the surgery and everything was awesome.
I went home for the winter break the next year and was clean. I quit smoking cigarettes, but I continued to smoke weed (I have a relationship with drugs in general...but nothing in over abundance besides marijuana). Guess what? They came back. At the point I was very well versed on the topic of HPV, knew what it was, and that it wasn't the end of my life and I just had to clear the virus and they probably wouldn't ever come back. I also have a very good immune system so I know this is possible...I have never been on antibiotics in my life and I rarely, if ever, get sick. It's possible I know it!
They have come back, currently I have maybe 8 or 9, all differing in size, some just forming. I can feel them and they're gross and I hate them. Started using tea tree oil and lavender oil like nobody's business this time. I had some success! One completely fell of, with a slight tug from me, and it felt like the wart was literally getting dry and rising out of my skin. It was white, not black, and there was some blood that came out after it came out.
There was no mark in the morning and the wart in the place hasn't returned. For some reason the tea tree oil doesn't work on the others, so I just bought ACV today and cotton balls. I'm currently sitting on two since about 12:30AM. It's now 1:12AM and the burning has significantly resided, but the pain wasn't anything bad...just uncomfortable.
I know the first step is eating healthier and more regular (I don't...mostly because I'm bad at buying groceries, can't really cook, and work at a restaurant, also in college). I take Pappilex, some pill my mom gave me that helps boost your immune system. I also take B-Vitamins once a day but starting today I'm going to amp it up to three times a day and two doses of Pappilex.
I'm gunna take the ACV cotton balls off myself at 1:30am and continue to do this 1 hour treatment every night for the next 3 days and then take a break. I will apply tea tree oil, 15 minutes before I get out of bed laying on my stomach, in the morning and try my very hardest to quit smoking but it's hard because of being away from home and at college and all that...but I know I can quit because I have done it before.
First time posting.
