I have been using the crystals deo as TheMrsHS refers to. I have been using in my groin area, on my csection scar area and under boobs and it seems to be helping clear things up. I have only been using 1x a day for a week. Fixing to up to 2x a day and see what happens. HS hasnt moved to my armpits and I pray it doesnt!!!
I saw the crystals also has a spray I thought about getting it too...

OIt really sucks that the crystal deo didn't work for me...I've always had strong underarm odor lol and I swear that when I used the crystal it intensified the odor and I actually got up from class and went to the drug store next door and bought deodorant. Right now its almost 90 degrees already during the day so I'm having what I would call a flare. I have one little dime sized bump on my breast that I'm treating with zinc and then I have what looks like a pimple on my butt and then an old hs abcess is open so I'm trying the dove on that area right now.

How many times a day did you all apply the dove?

I put it on after I bathe/shower... so usually once a day. Occasionally twice.

I've been putting on Dove deodorant at least once a day for a couple of months now. My armpits are doing a lot better. Occasionally one lesion will pop up, but the Dove helps them go away before they get big and full of pus, so they're more like little pimples than full-fledged boils.

Also, I don't usually put deodorant "down there" but one lesion showed up on that spot in the fold of my leg and started getting big, itchy, and painful. So I took a glob of deodorant and rubbed it all over the lesion. (I don't like just rubbing the whole stick directly on that area-- probably not very sanitary). I only applied it once, but within two or three days it reduced in size and went away without even bursting open. I don't know how this stuff works, but it's definitely making my life a lot easier!

I've decided to try dove again despite the itchiness I first experienced and so far it's been okay...i haven't seen any significant changes yet but the itchiness seems to have gone...hope it helps

@genocon, I just went out and bough some Dove deodorant, I got the roll on but really wanted to find a spray or aerosol because I don't want to harbour the bacteria! But for know this will do, I can't wait to try it and see. Thank you very much for your post!!

I don't know about starting up with deodorants again, but I did start applying castor oil at night to my pits. All I can say is...they feel really gooooood! I sweat alot at work because it's 100% manual labor, and my pits have always bothered me badly in the spring/summer. I was reading on earthclinic and other sites how ppl have said it makes their skin better. I will continue and see how good things get. The bad part is the fishy odor but I clean with alcohol in the mornings and it goes away.

I use Secret's aerosol deordorant. I stopped using stick deordorant because it is very difficult to apply when you are trying to avoid broken skin. I apply the spray on the areas that aren't affected.

Does anyone know where I can get the Dove sensitive Dove deodorant in aerosol form. I went to Shoppers Drug Mart and Walmart in Canada and could only find the stick or roll on.
I really want to try this but can't rub a stick or roll the roll on onto my painful sores under my armpit.

Well, I don't actually rub it on sores... I just dab it a few times.

I've been experimenting around and I find using deodorant is only really effective in conjunction with taking zinc+turmeric, and getting a little sun when it's nice doesn't seem to hurt either.

Were people using spray or roll on or what with the dove?

I'm using the stick kind (what do you call that kind?). It's white and it's solid.

I've been using dove regularly for a week or two now and I have started to notice a difference! my sores seems to clear up faster and some are slowly drying out. I also started using it on my groin and thighs and those areas seem to be healing as well! Now, I don't know if it's the dove or pregnancy hormones but something is definitely helping! Hopefully I keep seeing improvement after I give birth as well. After my last pregnancy is when shit really blew up and I don't want a repeat of that now that things have somewhat improved!

I put the dove on an area that doesnt seem to want to go away on my leg/groin area.. guess what???? Its starting to heal!!! Its shrinking and trying to go away.. Thank you Dove!
