Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Dear God, PLEASE don't let the copays increase...
So anyone who's reading this thread, it's got some real good ideas as far as maybe waiting just a week or so to start your meds after getting the first batch, letting your doc know that you want to push back the start date so THIS nightmare that happened to beachy does not happen to you (and no doubt others right now because insurance is all in a dither about approving Sovaldi).
Beachy, I'm prayin' hard here. What a clusterf**k.

WHEW!!!!!! I sure wish it was 5 oclock somewhere and I was allowed have a dang beer!! And I don't even like beer all that much...
Yeah, doc says keep my stress level down so I can't fight the bugs. No chance of that.
