Good grief! Are you being tested or something - like to see how much stress you can take? Like all of us, you don't breathe a sigh of relief until those meds are in your hands, but in the meantime, a bit of Xanax HELPS. I tend to be anxious by nature (a worrier), so during tx, my nurse has told me to take xanax as needed, and I am. I know to be careful as I abused it in the past, which led to serious problems - interdose withdrawal into panic attacks. It helps the dang ever-present Sovaldi headache too.

Gosh I hope those meds get to you quick so you can relax. You need to get that stress out of your life. Praying for you!
I've got one more refill to go and I'm a little worried they will pull this on me. My pharmacy's cash price for Sovaldi is over $37,000.00 for 28 pills.

Well, I just got a call from an Aetna Pharmacy, and the rep said the old pharmacy number must have been transposed as it was disconnected and she wondered if I had a number so that they could get the RX TRANSFERRED??!! ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME?? I nearly lost it. I too a deep breath and asked if possibly two people were working on the same task as I already PAID THEM and have a ship date?! She looked it up on computer, and "heh heh"'d a little and said "Sorry. Soemone has already taken care of that".

OMG. I got off the phone and broke down crying. Sobbing actually for all the shitty things that have ever happened in my life. A bonafide, low down pity party.. And still going at it and feel like it won't stop. Thank God my hubby and son are not here right now. They'll think I've lost my marbles. Maybe I have? This is just too much. Can a person develop liver pain from stress? My right side and stomach feels like someone is stabbing me and can barely catch my breath and I feel like I could cry and cry for days.. Is this normal???

Honest to God, I feel like I am having a nervous breakdown... and I've never had one, but this must be what one is like. Is this side effects? Should I go see someone? I am usually a happy, positive person. This isn't me. I feel like I have been swallowed up.

Oh SHIT, beachy. UnREAL. Okay, first, this order is going to be shipped, right? It was taken care of by someone and the lunatic who called you hadn't bothered to find out. All is good to go now, at least seems to be, yes? With my specialty pharm, they would tell me what day they were shipping, and I would call them the afternoon of that day to get a tracking order (mine came UPS). This is a clusterf**k to top them all. So you do need to know what day those fools are shipping out your meds - then follow up and get a tracking order in the afternoon of that day. It's obvious that whoever is minding that store does not care about you. They asked YOU for the other pharma's number. Oh my GAWD.

Dearest, I hope you have some Xanax on hand. Or Valium - but Xanax hits the stress faster. If you don't, head on out to the ER and try to get some as I am sure it's too late now to call your dr., and you've gotta find a way to calm down asap. Ya damn sure can't drink - which you wouldn't do. Everyone has different symptoms of a breakdown, and I'm sure this is a "temporary" meltdown caused by this situation from hell, but it's real enough to you and is causing you great emotional pain.

Yes, see someone - now - unless you've got some benzoes to help mellow you out. This is WAY too much.

Well.... wait a sec. I am not so sure about going to the ER - they might freaking admit you for observation. I stayed away from there a few times when panic attacks hit, fearing just that. I've always had my "back up sanity" meds - xanax works best for a quick "chill." Hope you have some - you know how much you can safely take.

Gooser is right - CRY, SOB YOUR HEART OUT. Take a warm bubblebath. Do deep breathing.

Beachy- I had the exact same thing. Aetna refused to pay for my last month if I didn't use their pharmacy. Your doctor should take care of the transfer. If not- call him. Call Aetna speciality pharmacy and put a STAT on it. It worked for me, if you need the number, send me a message. The co-pay is the same, $10 for both. You were already pre-approved by Aetna at that rate. I freaked too, but it worked out.

I am SOOOO sorry for being such a baby yesterday. It was a hard, hard, hard day. Worst TX headache I have ever had... migraine quality even. I took Xanax, and lied down for a bit. My hubby came home from work and laid with me for a bit, holding my hand, and told me he'd take care of dinner and our son so I could rest. After all the kind and encouraging words here, and love and kindness at home, I feel much stronger today. I am STILL waiting on that shipment. Was told early morning by 8:00 am, and it's now almost 9. I am on edge, but not freaking out. I thought I had a blood draw this morning at 10:30 and planned delivery around that, but I was wrong. So there is wiggle room. I have to just sit and wait though. Getting out and maybe taking a small walk on the beach would be good for my soul today. No more pity parties!!! I'll check in when delivery comes.... so dang happy about Marilyn's approval that it'd HAVE to lift my spirits!!

beachy - it's okay! We are here to support each other, and those of us who are on tx or have been on tx, whose lives may depend on the timely arrival of those meds, understand how stressful it is or can be just to wait for the meds the day they are supposed to arrive, let alone all the crap you went through yesterday and looks like you're still not "meds in hand."

And that headache is a mean one - I have it every day, sometimes, yes, migraine quality. I can't tolerate any little thing going "south" just coping with that. I keep reminding myself that this is all so worth it, even if the headache is debilitating at times. But - it still hurts and sometimes Ibuprofen is not enough - and dare not take more. Seeing my opthalmologist Monday because I'm concerned about my pressures - I have glaucoma.

Vent if you need to - hope hope hope those meds will arrive today. Call the pharmacy that sent them out and get a tracking number?

My insurance would NOT allow the Pharmacy my Doctor is using.
The pharmacy was able to call and track down
my "Specialty Pharmacy" through my insurance.

There is a TON of money to be made with these drugs and I am sure each insurance company is doing their own negotiations. I am sure that is why I can't use the Sovaldi coupons.

I will call early for my refill. FYI: My insurance pharmacy asked me what day I wanted Fed Ex to ship this to my home and I was not charged for the service and it was air express OVERNIGHT>
I pay $88.05 a month for Sovaldi and Ribavirina.
Good luck, I have a number for the doc's nurse that will be handling all the problems, etc.
Actually I kept all numbers in a box, just in case until I am done with this stuff.
