Dream, it's okay for most people to have a beer or two. But for some people that is just the appetizer. We all have to set our own limits.
Love to all, Nancy
I bought vodka today too. It's good to be honest but recently someone here made a snide remark directed at me about vodka. I don't care. I'm not ashamed of my drinking...it is what it is.
Judgmental people are inconsequential to me.
Please don't call yourself that.
That is a request, not a demand.
thankfully we seem to have many here ready and willing to be supportive and or understanding.
You will get no scolding from me, unless you want it.
Best wishes.
p.s. I have a cocktail here and I am speculating on it.
Drinking always brings out the ...lol...well the masses...the comments...the scolders...the hand holders...like i said...we are adults...if ya want to drink...I aint gonna yell & say stop...you know what is up...Is that enabling???? fuck I dont think so...
I would drink if i could...I would...but i just get too sick & feel like shit even after a couple of drinks....TO ME...it isn't worth it...I had 2 captian & diets a couple weeks ago...just tears up my stomach...so i am done...for now...lol...
Hell Kat...i just love you...drunk or sober...you got my heart...
Jeff no one knows your struggles but you...you live your life & are a big boy...I aint gonna piss on your back & tell ya its raining...
eyore...you can always come here...
dream...dont think an occasional bud light will kill ya...
Hell call me an enabler...I am just real...we all know the facts...the 'pour gas' on the fire...but i appreciate the honesty...for years everyone lied about their drinking around here...cause everyone was beat to death about it...hell I rather be open & honest...we are adults...
JMHO...

Now that I am stage 4 cirrhosis I have stopped completely.
If you need a little sobering up , reality wise just go check out the Cirrhosis support group (as I did, joined and left) for some real horror stories.
If you have a problem stopping drinking get some help on that front first and when you feel like "not caring" now and then check out the cirrhosis group again.
This is now my world..thank you HCV and Chardonnay.
