Thanks for giving the me the questions to ask of the trial I am about to start. I asked! Here's the info I got via e-mail today (after info I got on the phone.)

The riba "can" casue some unpleasant side effects, eyes, mood, etc but it's the Alpha Interferon that does lasting damage. I'm glad you are on this trial and wish you the best.

hello bagolady, how did you get on the trial and how did you find the doctor. You had no insurance right? Good for you. good luck. I want a trial but I don't really know where to start.

Sandy I was told end of June, I told Charlene that I would not be able to be there until the first of July, so I'm on for then. From what she told me (and e-mailed me) that I will go in for the screening and then the biopsy, then we get started on the tx.
I wish I hadn't done quite so much homework on the biopsy.
Ana, I don't have insurance that's why I looked into the trials. The trial both Sandy and I will be on is in Houston at the Liver Specialists of Texas.
Kinda scary but the alternative sounds scarier to me.
