the challenge is how to express it to satisfy where you are
so much damage has been done in the name of love.
It can work as long as everyone is honest and above board. You can't help who the heart wants but there has to be honesty and communication.
When I found out I was devastated, then he had the nerve to tell me that we could still be together but it would be the three of us and that his wife was okay with it. Well I didn't believe him about his wife so I talked to her personally and she was willing to accept me into their relationship.
I don't care what anyone says I could not do it, I would feel like a dirty little secret. How do you explain this kind of relationship to family and friends without me since I am the new women and the one not married to him as the slut and home breaker.

Visited the polygamous family last night and so I was wondering if there were others who also had similar ideas about relationships. It seems like it would only be natural that one could love and have an attachment to more than one person. I do not believe in the "Only one soul mate out there" concept.
I agree it is basically the same as a normal conventional relationship, except more people are involved. Not to mention much safer than just going out and having sex with anyone who comes along. All the individuals are committed to each other and the relationship.
I have talked to people, mostly women who said they could NEVER allow anyone to share their husbands. I suppose if that is their thing, more power to them, I still think that people can love more than one person at a time.
