Always amazes how kids are shocked, embarrassed and disgusted that their parents ACTUALLY HAVE SEXUAL DESIRES!

I can't think of a time my sons were embarrassed by something they saw or found out about me or their dad. My ex and I were always very open with talking about sex with them including different types of relationships, alternative lifestyles, etc.

The coin is sometimes flipped too. I found some things when I was helping my oldest son and his g/f move that were not meant for my eyes to see but it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't embarrassed and neither were they, I chuckled inside thinking "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

When I was a child, Lucy and Ricky--a married couple--still were shown on TV as sleeping in separate beds! And if Ricky sat on one of the beds, fully clothed, without Lucy, he STILL had to keep one foot on the floor. Such was the prudery and censorship of the 1950's !!!

As for parents having sex, it wouldn't have crossed my mind. When we watched TV as a family, Daddy would have his bathrobe on. It covered him from neck to ankle. I was GROWN before I realized he had genitals. I thought that underneath his bathrobe was another bathrobe and another bathrobe and another bathrobe. LOL

For your sake (and for privacy sake) I sure hope you actually spoke these words to your son. Otherwise, I'd go rifling through HIS drawers... turnabout is fair play.

I remember when my mom decided to take advantage of the opportunity when I was gone for a couple days, and clean my room and my bed sheets. She obviously found my sex toy. Needless to say she never exceeded two feet into my bedroom ever again.

Papertrucker, her living in her mom's house, does that mean Sosa has no right to her privacy? Does that give her mother the right to go snooping through her personal belongings?

My son and his wife are living in my house but just because it's my house does not give me the right to go snooping through their rooms and personal belongings.
