Thank you, Leather2lace. I fully agree. I don't see how my living in her house gives her the right to go through my personal belongings. So if you were living in my house, papertucker, came home to find me rummaging through your purse, your bed, your diary, you would say what exactly? "Oh well! It is after all your house! So have at it!" ???
I SERIOUSLY doubt that.

Here's my 2 cents.

I absolutely agree with Sosa . If one of my adult sons lived with me I would NEVER violate their privacy or go through their things. ( they are 29 and 23 yrs old ) . I would have no desire to. I saw enough without going through their things when they were here and teenagers without snooping !

KEEP OUT means KEEP OUT... I believe that Sosa has every right to her privacy regardless if she's living with her parents or not.

Right, "KEEP OUT" doesn't inherently mean "I am hiding something." All the many signs that say just that, "KEEP OUT" in front of people's PRIVATE property...does it mean they are hiding something? No, it means that is THEIR private property--theirs and no one else's.

Similarly, when I say keep out it means I have private things that are for my eyes only--my sex toy being one of many things.

The irony is my mentioning this on a public forum, but I think most here would agree they don't wish to have their parents see into their private sex lives, and hopefully their parents equally want no part in that.
