Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
I've attempted to maintain a healthy debate here. As usual, when others run out of ideas, the discussion usually degenerates into how many different ways they can call me an asshole.
I'm not trying to win any popularity contests here-- never have. When the best my detractors can come up with is calling me "GayKart" or "DayFart", or speculating about my sexual prowess, it is really, really difficult to take them seriously. And yes, at times, I do regrettably resort to a low-blow when the name-calling becomes too fierce. Frankly, it would've been nice to've seen all these Voice-of-Reasoners come out of the woodwork earlier, when I was being called a "fucking prick".
I have a solid track record of providing honest input and support. At times, this involves a certain amount of unpleasantness. I realise that my opinions today were unpopolar, but I truly believe in them, and I can't speak honestly without them. At the day's end, it's just pixels on a fucking screen; YOU are the one who assigns meaning to them.
I'd give you a squeeze, but you're kinda out of reach.
Something tells me that the "true feelings & thoughts" in question, if they'd been posted in a honest & true fashion, would scare the pants off us all. I know a little something about Impression Management, and nobody makes that much of an effort to APPEAR happy, especially if they actually ARE happy.
But I digress.
There was a direct contradiction made to my initial post, which, for several reasons, I thought was absolute BS. I attempted to illustrate my feelings in response, but, per usual Healthy Sex pecking-order protocol, I was called a bunch of names, and dismissed as "jealous".
Admittedly, I will never elicit as much public sympathy as a pair of models from the L.L. Bean Autumn Catalog, but I hope this explains things a bit better.
And yes, I remain happily single.
