People find things funny that are stupid, bc the actions portrayed by Homer or the 3 Stooges would never be something they would do.
On the other hand, someone lacking intellectual horsepower might not find anything funny about Homer screwing up, bc it's something they would do in real life.
Moral of the story, I bet there are plenty of bright people even on this site that enjoy these shows 9Me being one of them), so don't take stupid shows so seriously. Lighten up and enjoy it, don't feel insecure about what makes you feel good.
No... wait... I think the apple ones are my fave. Where you slice the apples very thin and douse them with Cin. Then toss them in the pancakes right after you drop the batter.
and they get that perfect level of soft... but still hold together.hhhmmm... so hungry.
