She is so NOT a drama queen unlike the last two women he was in serious relationships with and lived with. He and this woman have been seeing each other for a year, living together for 6 months (her 9 year old son lives with them also) and there's zero drama. The other two women, one was worse than the other, everything was drama with him, with friends, with their family, everyone.
I was talking to him earlier today and said it's nice seeing you with a non-drama queen on your arm. He laughed and said "yeah, tell me about it! It's nice looking forward to coming home from work for a change and not dread coming home knowing you're going to get hit with a ton of self-induced problems."
This is one of the reasons I firmly believe people should live together for at least 2 years before getting married. You have a chance to really see who the other person is.
