Fed out to all 3 and everyone eagerly accepted their long overdue meals. The two larger ones are just finishing and the small one is back to hiding. Yay!

Anthem, as much as I don't like rodents scurrying around my house, the thought of them being devoured by snakes does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling.. How often do you have to feed them? And are the rodents live or frozen when you get them.

i have no idea what my body is trying to tell me, but i have wanted nothing but hot things this morning. hot coffee, hot malt-o-meal, hot tea. blah. i really just want to go climb back in bed and snuggle, but i have to go meet with another college today. this whole thing is such a big waste of time.

Viv, Viv, Viv....A snake will not eat a dead rodent. They only eat live, cute, twinkley-eyed, button-nosed, tender little critters like the ones Anthem received in the mail. And I'm sure it probably only took about 5 minutes of sheer agony and terror before those cute, twinkley-eyed, button-nosed, tender little critters succumbed to their lungs collapsing in on themselves and their innards splatting out from their mouth from the snakes' compression coil. And I'm sure that the sweet, innocent, tender, little cutey-pies stop realizing their fate about halfway down the snake's pallet.

So Anthem..., was in fun to watch? :-D

My son's snake eats dead mice, he buys them frozen.

Fine...They eat dead, nasty rodents. Still, they ONCE were alive....

My stbxh is a snake keeper/breeder (roughly 50 snakes at the moment), so there is a freezer in the garage just full of rats. I don't miss feeding day. 50 frozen/thawed rats don't smell good. And there really is NOT a smell in the world that rivals that of a regurgitated rat.

I'm so sorry Okie but stop your pouting, it's very unbecoming of you. sheesh

On a side note..........I love rats, they make very good pets, mice too. Even my cats learned to like them or at least tolerate them and not kill them. It could have been the threat, eat my cute little rodents and ummm......China King is a hop, skip and a jump away. ;o)
