No, I'm not concerned about the original issue anymore. My gf fixed that ;) For now I have other, non-sexual issues weighing me down.
A vital "organ" of yours isn't working properly and is a relatively consistent problem. Add to that you are young.
From where I stand, that clearly is something that should be addressed with a doctor.
I second Koolman. Get a complete physical and let them know what's up (or....down).
Actually, the other night before the acupuncture it wasn't getting hard at all and a number of other symptoms I've been having lately were flaring up so I went to the hospital. Sadly though, the doctor I spoke to there was completely useless. His advice was pretty pointless; Avoid drugs and alcohol.
I barely ever drink anymore and I don't use drugs very often. Since this started I've cut back on pretty much everything I was doing that could effect it (quit smoking cigarettes, barely ever drink and even normally I don't use substances very often). I was just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions that would help?
i don't know your age......am not a doctor anyway , lol. but after marriage with a man who also had this problem eventually, I can say I understand. I always felt that it was my fault for being overweight and my husband hated women who are big.......though at the same time, I am 100% sure he truly loved and adored me, and desired me......( I feel that he always thought of me, how I used to look, when we first met and married....in other words , he saw me through rose colored glasses ) but i still thought it may be at the root of the problem. I accidentally learned from a tv show , that porn or sex addiction ( my husband was addicted to both) can actually make it difficult or impossible to have sex with a partner ; i guess because the constant masterbation, etc....but you say you can't get erection even alone, with porn etc. In medical books, I learned about the "postage stamp test" ..........don't know if you heard of it. I mean, do they even make those kind of stamps anymore? What it is, you get a roll of postage stamps, and wrap connected stamps around your penis before going to bed at night.........this way , because men have nocturnal erections normally, if the problem is purely mental, not phsical, the stamps will be broken apart , when you awake the next mornng....I am serious, this is a recommended first step to start out , to see if it's all in your head or not. Drugs , including pot, prescriptions, cigarettes, alcohol, all can be detrimental.......and any health problem that is circulatory , as well as diabetes, heart problems, hormonal.......can all be causes...
oh, i just found a post that says you are 27...wow, well for sure, that is pretty young, but not unheard of. It is probably something you can fix , once you sort it out .......i don't know where to go first, as far as doctor, but I think, possibly, a urologist ? Someone mentioned Lipitor, now, I'm not sure, but that actually 'may' be a med that might cause a problem .... I personally have concerns about that type of medicine for many reasons ; I would only take that if no other choice.
You may just have low testosterone. Even what you eat can affect things.
