But damn. She doesn't care for me.
Why didn't she just leave me be?
Some problems are the workable kind - I have been married over 21 years now - but some my heart said he was a good guy and don't hurt him. My head may have said things seem to be going great. But my gut would draw me away from them.
Sometimes I wanted to go back, but the couple times I did it was never the same and didn't work out.
So most likely part of you knows she wasn't the one. It's usually complete torture when head and heart remind you of good things. But your gut knows, so trust it. From your posts that is what I am seeing.... and letting go will move you to future happiness faster. Sometimes when you least expect it. I first met my husband because I missed my turn!
Hugs!
We are all guilty of this at times so don't overreact. You gave meaning to words, translated them in your head into what you needed to hear and were devestated when she was clear and it was totally different.
Don't text her again, or you run the risk of being tagged with the crazy brush. Hold your head up, chalk it up to an unsuccessful potential relationship and spend some time trying to be content with yourself, once you accomplish this, you'll hear the words that are being said, not what you think you need.
She very well may have liked you, gave you some distance and thought to pick it up. Have the self- worth to walk away.
I still agree with your previous statement that you use aren't ready to date. You're so sensitive to everything. Need a bit of a thicker skin to deal with the trials and tribulations involved.
