Hi! I am new here. Since this is a relationship page I thought I would get some advice. I am 65 yrs old but I don't look that age. Or so people tell me. I have a new neighbor across the street from me. He is 63 yrs old. The minute I met him I felt attracted to him. This has never happened to me, even when I met my husband, who has been gone now for 11 yrs. I have dated in the past and found more frogs than anything so I gave that up. Now this guy comes along and I am crazy about him. How he feels about me I have no idea. We were doing great then I got this stupid cold sore and he seems kinda cold. He still talks to me, seen him this past Sat and Sunday. Since then he hasn't called and I have not gone over to his place either. What should I do? Just wait and see what happens? Confront him and see what he says? I didn't think he was that old fashion but maybe he wants to do the chasing and I'm being to bold. I don't like playing games, I never have even when I was younger. Any advice?

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
Continue to take things slow.... what is the rush.... and to have lots of other fun things in your life that keep you busy and happy and fulfilled... outside of seeing him. You don't want him to feel all pressured, it sounds like he just wants to go with the flow. Are you keeping yourself busy with your own things to do? Keep up with your self care, your social circle, hobbies, exercise.... just doing lots of things that are just for - You! Not wondering or worrying what *he* is doing or thinking.
Best wishes to you! :-)
Two lost souls don’t make a found couple. It makes two lost souls who still have whatever problems in the baggage they carry around.
He’s telling you something important “don’t push” and you can accept that or not. The more you push, the more unhappy you will be. Why not ask God for the wisdom to understand the relationship better rather than asking for the ending you want?
He is direct with you and is telling you how he is and who he is. I think it’s an admirable trait that he’s being honest with you. He says don’t push because he knows you want more than him. And he knows he wants less than you want. Listen and accept. You sound like a fun person and if not him, another good man will show up.
