Some of you may have read what I posted awhile back about seeing a new guy and my guy friend going off the deep end. Well, I did cut ties with the friend because that's not how you treat people you care about and have been seeing the new guy.
We've been out together, had nights in, all that stuff...and I will usually stay the night at his house. We make out and all, but haven't slept together yet. He's not even tried. At first, I was wondering what was going on (I'm definitely interested in sleeping with him) and why he wasn't trying. Then it occurred to me that this might be the first time I've started seeing someone where they haven't pushed the issue. It's not even been two weeks, and I'm over here like "what is wrong with me that it's not going farther?!" Not even two weeks! It's like, instead of thinking the guy is trying to get to know me and really DATE, I'm panicked because I think he's not interested. Somewhere along the way, I've managed to kill romance for myself. Crap.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I can't say that this is the situation with your guy, since I don't know a lot of details or anything about him really, but it could be that he just doesn't like sleeping with someone too quickly. Sometimes things can fall apart quickly once sex is involved. Maybe he is trying to feel things out more before all those love hormones are involved. I know how you feel exactly, I used to think sex was the ultimate way to know if someone really likes you. No, it's not. Give it more time, enjoy yourself, and continue seeing other men until he decides to be exclusive with you. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, and don't let fact that sex isn't involved ruin what could potentially be a healthy, happy relationship.
Honestly people that are going to have sex should talk about it. STI tests ect... Because just because someone says they don't have HIV or Hep C doesn't mean they are telling the truth... Shocking I know (sarcasm)
i was not and am not a prude in any way
i would not expect...nor try to "jump your bones" within 2 weeks
unless i had no respect for you
don't wig out on yourself or him, if it goes longer than you want without him making the move, make it yourself or better, talk about it, like an adult
maybe you have a good guy, maybe that makes him uncommon and perhaps he sees the same in you, all which could be a really good thing for both of you
Relax.
See where it goes.
I find it refreshing when a guy isn't instantly all over me like white on rice.
Now if more time goes by and he isn't making any moves I would def want to know what was going on.
