It's been two weeks since my boyfriend broke up with me out of nowhere. There are still a lot of things going on that are confusing the hell out of me. He came to the house earlier this week because he was supposed to move his stuff out, but he came over while I was at work and only took his clothes and toiletries. He left big stuff like the TV, video game systems, kitchen stuff, and several other personal things. He said that he took what he could and he would make arrangements for the rest, but those arrangements haven't been made. He's made no mention of them and hasn't tried to set a time to pick them up. He does try to come back when he knows I won't be home, so he works with me to make those plans.
He wants to keep talking to me and says that it feels weird when we don't. I gave it a couple days this week where I didn't say anything and when I did say "how's it going", he said he was actually just about to text me because he was thinking of me. He filled me in on his week and asked about my plans. I did ask if he wanted to watch the football game with me yesterday, but he said that he appreciated the offer but he doesn't think he's ready yet...but that we would watch one together before the end of the season, promise.
I've been telling him how hard this has been. That it doesn't feel right. I've been through bad breakups, but I've never had that absolute gut instinct that it wasn't supposed to happen. He's admitted that he's not happy either. Just feel like I'm getting a lot of mixed signals out of all of this. Like he's not sure what he's doing and is bouncing all over the place. In the meantime, I've been talking to a counselor, but it still hits me out of the blue sometimes. Like something grabs and twists my stomach until I scream. Can't say any of the days have been good, but some are worse.
I just can't get a clear cut idea of this. Like if there's something he just needs to work out with himself or if he really wants this to be over for good. I know whenever I've ended a relationship, I didn't want to keep in contact with the person and I certainly wouldn't have left my belongings at their home. Always tried to rip off the Band-Aid and get the hell out, so this is all kind of different and confusing.

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
So I think you just have to not over analyze what he’s doing. Set boundaries as needed. I feel for you. I really do.
