thoughts of suicide

I have been having thought of suicide which I know I won't follow through with but right now my life really really sucks. I am really giving my poor husband a hard time (even though he deserves some of it!). I am having anxiety attacks about every other day or so, crying jags, my feet a swollen, I can't sleep. constipation, no hope. Even the xanax my PC prescribed is not working.
I have a call into my therapist because of this.
But I a wondering is I am going Hypo. My Endo does not do the Free T3 and Free T4 tests but here are my latest labs from Sept 12th:
TSH 1.10 (0.40-4.50)
T3 Total - 95 (76-181)
T4 Total - 1.2 (0.8-1.8)

they have me on kholonipin and it seems to work with the anxity,and it also helps with the shakes from the graves. Before I couldnt hold a pencil and with this med along with the beta blocker I am feeling much better with the body tremors. See if maybe they can switch you. And remember this disease can cause us to feel like we r going out of our mind and we r not...we r sick. I believe that you hold a serious impact on this world and that it would be incomplete without you. So please stay strong and this too shall pass.

OK, my TSH level was 4.43 on Oct. 2th (4 days after the scan) and the previous one taken Sept 12 the was .53. I would say there was an impact on my TSH level with the contrast dye! I suppose we are all different in how it effects us. I live on the east coast of the U.S. and have never lacked for iodine, my diet was rich in shellfish, lobsters, crabs, fish, etc. - which I love but I have now stopped eating them. My mood has completely changed and things are right with the world again! Thank God! And thanks to all of you for listening!

I'm feeling you on all of it. My guy be getting shit for no reason from me. Last night i just snappedman the razor wss looking pretty nice. Then i stopped and thought about my daughter. I can't leave her behind. With anxiety attacks. I use to have them 4 times a day. I hated them and they made my chest hurt. The pills never did anything and talking is really not my thing. I don't get them that often anymore bur when i do i just smoke a little weed. Notaround my child of course

Your thyroid levels are likely still quite off which will explain why you feel this way.

I have been in the same boat one way or another as others have. It could be really awful at times when my anxiety/panic attacks was ongoing (at least it seemed like it at the time).

I was so glad when my thyroid levels finally settled down and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel.
