Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

I'm so new to this and kinda scared .. they gave me medicine for the acid reflux but will that help ? It's pantoprozle? But yeah .. I just need some good advice on how to handle this.

Did the doctors have you follow up with a gastro? Without a diagnosis you won't really know how to relieve the symptoms. My advice would be to find a gastro and see if they want to do any further testing. You may not have gastritis at all (fingers crossed) and it could be something minor. Usually with gastritis there is nausea and lots of pain so maybe its something different. Either way, get a diagnosis so you can figure out how to heal :) Good luck!
