Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Just found a bar of Lindt dark chocolate in my pantry, smells really good. Should I have a piece?
its too early to say if I will have any problems just yet as I have only started taking it 2 days ago, one thing I will tell you is that that toast might be a problem I never ever have bread of any kind but I have started to eat is in the last two days it does bloat me and I can tell my bowels don't really like it too much but the Greek yoghurt honey flavour is like a treat for me as its delicious and I can eat it every day yum yum. The only thing I worry about is before I used to have a milkshake from a cafe near my work and every time guaranteed it would send me straight to the bathroom and for at least an hour so I know for.a fact my body does not like milk although my lactose intolerance test was negative.
Steve I am glad you want to keep in touch lets great, and yes if the opportunity ever arises to meet that would be fine with me. Now I understand the mechanics of this condition I now know what I need to do, the basic formula is TIME + DIET = A MUCH HAPPIER TUMMY AND GREAT CHANCE FOR THE HEALING PROCESS TO WORK.
Anita, I forgot about jacket potatoes and I do really like them I imagine tuna maya is out the question or beans or cheese ahhhhhhhhhhhh lol. Am I able to put a fair amount of olive spread on instead. I will go back to 2 ppi's but rather than 2 in the morning I will switch to what you said. I keep thinking some thing serious is going to happen to me but I tell myself its just pain, I am scared to death of getting an ulcer.
It helped me a lot. You might want to give it a try but keep in mind that it can stop being effective after few weeks of continuous use.
