I've noticed people talking about changing shoe sizes with weight loss...I have a bad foot from a car accident/surgery and can't buy my favorite cheap shoes lol. Since I have to buy expensive shoes for the support I can't afford to buy some now and then multiple more pairs throughout the weight loss. Is that how it is? Does your shoe size change alot? Is there a point when it stabilizes? I know everyone is different but some generalalities would help

there might be hope for me! I wear 12 im mens! My ex who is 6'4" use to steel my shoes all the time because they were all mens shoes! try to talk about stress, looking for prom shoes was a nightmare! i had to get the biggest they had in an open back and let some of my "ski" hang off the back!

god, let my feet shrink!

It would be nice if my size 10 feet would at least get one size smaller and not sure how long out from surgery if it will happen. I am 12 weeks out from my surgery and have lost 35 pounds so far.

Dont buy cute shoes until you are done. I lost about 1 size, but I used to wear big, flat ugly men's looking shoes. Now I love cute high heels and sandals. I couldn't walk in them before anyway, but I would have been afraid to strike oil in the heels I wear now. Save it as a reward for reaching goal. Good luck.

I started out in Size 10 WIDES, went down to size 9s. Now I am in Size 8s..Problems is, I dont have ANY 8s'!! I need some. Im STILL wearing the 9s- I cant AFFORD to buy any!! :( My poor husband is unemployed and he is TRYING so hard to find work-** I really do need some dress shoes and sneakers for walking!! I walk 5 miles EVERY night!!

We just relocated back to NH-There seems to be work here, so i am HOPING he finds WORK soon.

I mourn the loss of my cute shoes. I went from a 8 1/2 to 7. This summer I have just alternated between tennies and sandals. But plenty of shoe shopping is in my future this fall!

I am less than 5 months out and I was pleasantly surprised that my feet already are smaller. I had 3 pairs of new shoes I bought and they were too small (narrow). I can wear them now! My feet aren't as wide as they were. That was a NICE surprise. I had them for about 5 years and I'm glad I held onto them now. It is so nice when smaller things fit us :-)))))
