Try not to buy much. For at least a year. Trust me $$ Learn from my mistakes...

I went from size 28 (tight) to 14/16 and I thought OMG I will never be smaller than this I was so jazzed I bought a 6 outfits... I didn't even get the tags off of them within a month they swam on me. I did the same at Size 10. Around 2 years out I was at size 4 and maintaining since (I'm 4 years 2 months out)

I went from a 10 wide to a 9 1/2 narrow.

But it took a while before I needed new shoes. I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's more of a gradual change then clothing sizes.

I think it may vary a lot depending on your feet. My friend, whose feet and ankles tended to be swollen before surgery has changed sizes, I haven't... I'm 6 months and 70 lbs post surgery, plus another 50 pre surgery. A couple of my shoes that were a little tight to begin with fit better now, but nothing is really too big. But i never felt I had fat feet or ankles.

Living in SoCalifornia I used to wear flip flops 350 days a year, but that was really because I was a fatty and hated outing socks and shoes on. Now I change shoes 3 times a day min. Of course that also because I'm a mirror and cloth whore with a dick. LOL

yes your foot changes sizes and shape. But once you lose your body fat you'll be able to buy a pair that will last a long time. Plus you'll be so skinny you'll never wear them out.

I never expected my foot size to change!!!! I went from a 9 1/2 - 10 wide to an 8 1/2 - 9 NARROW!! I lost a bunch of really cute shoes too.

I am with Shelly, try not to buy too much new. I did the exact same stuff she did thinking I wouldn't get any smaller. I am now a size 6! I started out in a size 24-26 and am doing a good job at maintaining in a size 6. Could probably go to a 4 if I went to a plastic surgeon and got the excess skin removed!

I had surgery Feb 26, 2009. I weighed 264 lbs. preop. My weight stabilized about 11 months out and I have been at 135-140 lbs since about Jan of 2010.

I was a 44 big C small D bra and am now a 34 barely B. Victoria's secret miracle Bra is my new favorite!

I had my rings made smaller too soon as well. I was a size 8 1/2 ring. Now my 5 1/4 needs to be cut down again.

I went from a 9.5/10 to an 8/8.5 and rare occasion 7.5. Because of meds I was on before surgery it made my feet/ankles swell alot and now I have very thin, slender feet and I love it. But it was gradual. I wouldn't worry about it for now. If you never had pudgy feet before it may not affect you.

I'm an East Coast kid and I havent changed my shoe size at all after 120+ lbs gone!

I hope my shoe size goes down, but I don't think it will. My feet and ankles are not too swolen. Still, going down at least one size would be great. I wear an eleven. Buying dress shoes is a challenge.

I wear size 12 ladies shoes and good Lord, I hope I lose some feet!!! LOL

I wore size 10 shoes before surgery, have lost 160 lbs. and I still wear size 10 shoes. Don't know what happened to me and losing in my feet.

My feet are the same size but now narrow after 65 lb. loss. I do know that narrow feet run in my family but didn't think I'd ever have 'em.

Here in the northwest you can get away with wearing sandals (with socks too) all year around. I can always punch another hole in the strap. So, that is my plan.

Good Lord, I wear a 12W! I pray with all my heart my feet lose some fat. I had almost gave up hope of wearing a pretty shoe. Damn, most time it was better for me to throw away the shoes and just wear the damn box they came in...lol. I have hope now, yea!!!!!

Went from a 10 Wide to a 9 Medium and that's after 160 pound loss. I was surprised when I went to put last years sandals on and my the ball of my foot was sliding through the toe area of the shoe. I used to like those shoes too, but I can deal with it.lol

I want from a 9 1/2 to an 8 in most and a 8 1/2 depens on the shoe but I still wear my 9 1/2 if the have laces.. I went from a 20 in pants to an 8 or 10 and 2 x in shirts to most Meds
