It has been a while since I last posted. I sought therapy for the depression that was driving me to the casino. I began having car troubles, I fell and broke a couple of ribs, I was in another car crash, and my home was broken into (and my computer among other things was stolen) All triggers that made me want to escape, run away from home.
On October 29th I sat at one machine and poured all of my bill money for the month of November in it betting max, and never got ahead. I was just so mad at the unfairness life has handed me the last three years and decided I am going to recover tonight or go home broke The latter occurred and on my way out the door I picked up a self-ban form and returned it on the 31st. I cannot go back for a year and the nearest place I can go to play is 40 miles away. I work 6 days a week and do not drive well at night so I am done.
I will be caught up with the bills the end of this month, and the end of the year I will have money in the bank and some available credit on my credit card for emergencies.
Now I am struggling with what to do with my time in the evenings, especially with it getting dark so early.

What I will say is you have little understanding of what gambling addiction is. If you are genuinely interested in learning about gambling addiction, what it does to people's lives and methods to over come it I'd welcome you to stick around.
If you're just here to belittle people struggling with a dangerous addiction or brag about your gambling exploits you'd being doing many people a tremendous amount of good by disappearing from this forum.
Many of the things you have said on here are very troubling for someone in the early stages of recovery. You're not doing anyone any good by bragging about gambling or minimizing the struggle they may be going through.
