I have a friend who has exercise induced asthma so it might be a good idea to talk to your doctor..
Let us know how it goes. I am sure nobody would blame you if you quit the team for health reasons. Your life and your future are much more important.
Keep in touch and let us know how it goes. I hope it all works out for you no matter what you choose to do.
God Bless
I know the feeling I played college soccer as well. It is a big step up from high school and club. I know people think that soccer is all about long-distance running but I found that sprints are more applicable to college soccer. Intervals where you sprint one side of the field then walk the next then sprint and so on. This got me into a better game shape where you sprint a lot more. I don't know how bad the asthma is but my advice would be talking to the athletic trainer. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
