I will be brief. Why? There's a squirrel warming his nadgers/nuts/acorns/nethers against the window. He's on the outer sill, back end pressed to the window. This is not a view anyone should have at any hour, let alone this one... But it does mean the woodpecker isn't out there, so bonus?
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm not sleeping with this cold. I'm sorry I'm so out of it. Much hugs to all.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I still have this damn flare...I took it easy as much as possible yesterday and I slept ok, but I don't feel any better. Today is fairly busy with food shopping, cooking, cleaning and walking Miki. I have to bring her to the trails today because it's going to rain all day tomorrow. I'm also going to try letting Nox out when I get home from the gym. I think the Prozac is hitting him a little bit, he's not constantly crying in the bathroom anymore. I really hope this goes well, I can't deal with cleaning up pee this weekend. I'm in too much pain and I already feel depressed
Leo, I hope your weekend is good and you get some sleep. Get to feeling better soon.
Miki, I hope the transition is good with Nox back to the group. I can't imagine how hard that is keeping them separated. Pace as you can and I hope you can rest later.
I had another bad migraine last night as I suspected from the barometric pressure. I got my first Medical MJ last night that the shop recommended for migraines. It's very expensive and didn't help my migraine enough so my stomach is hurting this morning from the sumatriptan pill I took at 11pm. I'm about to go grocery shopping and then after lunch I'm taking the girls to North Pole Adventures where they get to play and do different activities including eating a cookie with Mrs. Claus and taking a picture with Santa.
I hope everyone has a good weekend.
Miki, I hope you feel better soon as well. And that the cats get everything straight and behave. Maybe some rest for you tonight will help.
I peeved this morning. I want to bake and the delivery guy forgot my flour and parchment paper, but I got charged for it. You can give an online tip, but he sure didn’t get one. I filled out the online form and should get my refund, but I don’t feel like driving to town. I need to make a $35 order to avoid a delivery charge. Maybe I will try that.
My knee is much better. Hubby is going to help me bake later. I’m going to try and do some tree decorating.
Take care everyone.
Leo that would be quite a sight first thing in the morning or anytime really. I hope you can get some healing rest today and feel better soon.
Miki I am not sure why but it seems many are feeling depressed and stressed this year. I know for me it is much worse. I hope the walk on the trails gives you a time away from your worries.
Ida I hate when I count on everything being there and having to run to the store anyways. They should have to check off each item as they put them in the sacks. I hope you get what you need and can do that baking.
We are hitting the storage unit today to get the tree and decorations. I am in no mood for Christmas this year but have to go through the motions. Fake it till ya make it I guess. I just want February 1st to be here. I will try to be cheerful so as not to ruin everyone else's holiday. My pain level has been way to high for way too long. It seems it never goes below an 8 now. I am going to have to make an appt with my doctor. I just seem to have no desire to leave the house or do anything.
Hi to all who follow and I hope everyone has a great whatever you do weekend.
Leo, I hope the squirrel is gone... I'm not sure you can unsee something like that. I hope you are resting today after a night of being up.
I ended up spending the afternoon in the ER... because when I tried to get the VA to squeeze me in, they don't have an x-ray machine so they sent me to the ER. My husband initially told me to drive myself (he was at the college for a meeting) but ended up meeting me in town and driving me the rest of the way.
The conclusion is I don't have any fractures and my bad rib is OK. But I have whiplash, some bruises and strained muscles... just a little banged up from that stock boy running me over with his heavy loaded cargo.
I still had to drive myself home, though, which hurt.
When they weighed me at the hospital I was shocked to see my weight dropped even more. I'm under weight by several pounds now. I need to stabilize my weight and need to find a way to eat more calories. It's so hard because everything hurts my stomach.
I have one week of classes left and then the winter break begins. But I'm struggling just to turn in my assignments for *this* past week. I haven't had any time to work on them because it's been such a rollercoaster week.
Wow, Miki. You have a busy day with that flare. I hope you can take it easy and allow yourself to recover. Fingers crossed for Nox.
Twins, I'm sorry about the migraine yesterday, I hope it's gone today. I hope the girls are enjoying themselves today and that you have the energy to do it all. Prayers going your way.
Ida, that sucks about the groceries. We don't have a delivery service here so I have no idea what that's like. But I do know how frustrating it can be when you forget the one important ingredient so you can bake what you want to. I'm glad your knee is doing better today.
Autumn, you're not alone in not being in the mood. I told hubby I'm skipping it this year. I'll send cards out to some family, and go to a few get-togethers around the island, but that's it. I'm not making a big shindig, no tree, no gifts and no cooking (unless he does it). I'm sorry about your pain level, 8 is pretty high to be stuck in. I hope your doc can help you feel better soon.
I did actually buy one Christmas gift online last night. I saw something about CBD bath bombs which immediately captured my attention. I have a friend with a Jacuzzi tub who loves soaking and has MS. She is going to love them - 3 different strengths are included.
Miki - I hope that Nox and Noah will be the best of friends so you don't need to worry about that any more. Try to grab some rest where you can.
Twin - Good for you on the medical MMJ! You may have to tinker around with some different strains to get the one that helps you. And, yes, it is horribly expensive. I hope that the girls have a good time and you aren't a complete wreck afterwards. Hugs!
Autumn - Right with you on the Christmas stuff. I haven't even hung up any of my LED colour changing snowflakes in the window. I'll see how I do this next week and maybe I will get something out. I hope that you are not too overtired from going to the storage unit etc. Hugs!
Ida - Funny that you mentioned parchment paper. I just went looking for some in the drawer where I keep food wrap. Now I have to check the pantry in the garage. That is so frustrating not to have what you need. Good thinking to make another order so you don't have to go out. I am thinking about looking into a delivery service around here. Especially with this d@##@ knee acting up. I hope that your baking endeavors go well this afternoon!
Blue - I am sorry that your Hubby was initially not too helpful about taking you to ER. It sounds like you got walloped pretty good by the guy and his cart. I'm sorry that you got hurt. You should to talk to your GI doc again and point out that weight loss. I hope that you don't have much to do today in the line of schoolwork.
AngelaJo - I sure hope that you are going to have some peace and quiet and staying put while you are dog sitting. You should catch up on your rest and try and get that pain level under control. Your anniversary dinner sounds really good! I hope that you have fun today and then can just say "no" to any more running around.
Laundry folding beckons! I will check back later. Shout to Bear, Milily, Maynard, Pam, Susan, Zombie, JP and PuppyMom.
Sorry I don't feel up to responding but I did read and prayed for each of you.
Hugs for the pain and disappointments.
Silver's not looking too good, the time has arrived to put him down, that is if he doesn't beat us to the punch. We were going to bring him to the humane society tomorrow but we called and found out that as of Dec 1st they no longer put pets to sleep. So, now we have to wait for the vet clinic to open Monday.
I don't know if I can make it to church tomorrow, it's been such a roller coaster week. I hope everyone has a good Sunday.
Hugs Leo hope your feeling better
I slept MAYBE 3 hours all night. Thats how my night went ugh. At 3 am i was emptying the dishwasher and doing laundry because i was in too much pain to sleep. I am so drained. Ugh...... Pain is just thru the roof. When do you decide to have fun and when its not worth the recovery time? I am so frustrated!!!!!!!
Autumn, I find myself crying more and more because I have no desire to do anything or want to move my from the pain/exhaustion. It's so hard watching life pass us by and we want to feel better and make those around us happy but we can't. I'm praying for you. I'm sorry you can't wait until February and that you hurting so much.
Blue, I'm glad your bang up wasn't more but I'm sorry you had to go to the ER from the pain. I know it's hard but you need to sneak more nutrition into your diet, I don't want you to waste away. I'm sorry about Silver and with how hard it has been doing homework this week. I'm praying this next week goes by fast and you can get a nice break from the studies.
Angela, it sounds like you might have a more relaxing week coming up while watching dogs, that is if you're staying there and not going to a lot of appointments. I hope it's a good week for you.
Fantod, I plan on going back and trying another strain that is strictly indica. He gave me a hybrid and I really need something that will knock me out more. :-) Thanks for support. I think those bath bombs sound awesome, your friend will love them.
Miki, I hope you felt more up to seeing bf yesterday and that you are feeling a little better. I'm glad the reintroduction seems to be going better. I really hope it continues.
I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection brewing. My right check is hurting a lot right next to my nose, which is how my last few sinus infections presented themselves. I see my Rheumy on Wednesday so I'm hoping maybe it can wait until then and he can give me a steriod shot and z pack. Man I hate antibiotics, they are the worst for my stomach and here I was finding some relief on my stomach with a papaya enzyme after meals. It's always something. I need to get ready for church and then I have a little cleaning this afternoon. I was hoping to run an errand today before our cold week starts but I'm not sure I feel up to it. Yesterday was lots of fun at the North Pole Adventures but today I don't want to move at all.
Blessings on your day and I'm praying for each of you.
