Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.

I'm trying to find better coping mechanisms when it comes to my daily pain, and have found it helpful to talk about what is going on to others who understand. I also struggle with some negative ideations due to my pain even though I am grateful for this life. I try to manage my pain with cannabis either through smoking or eating, but today was hard because I didn't want to put my lungs through it :/. I'm finding it difficult to try to get back into working, even part-time, because the last time I was working I got really sick, etc. I need some reassurance that this is all worth it sometimes. Sending love to all of you.

I can't get back to 'work' but I'm blessed to have a working hubby.
for coping mechanisms? I've used a lot that involve breathing and meditation. There are guided imagery meditations that allegedly can get you "out of your pain brain" for a while. I've tried some. I'd say 50-50 on that. I got nowhere, but others get a lot of benefit and rest from 'em.
Hugs and support!
