I'm at a hotel. The idiot I married wouldn't use drain clenaer, so we had a massive clog in our all-dog-leg shower drains, and we had to call the plumber, and he used his machine, and then the sewage pipe from the toilets cracked (he claims he didn't do it) and leaked into the ceiling of our living room and on my arts-and-crafts table, and I had to move a bunch of furniture out of the room entirely and lay down tarps and bins to catch and trap the eventual collapse of that section of our ceiling and they can't start repairs till Monday afternoon.
We're at a hotel. I hate this.
We don't have money to pay for this. Hubby will call homeowners insurance (thank you to those who reminded me that exists!) and we'll have to ask his parents for help. Since they just doled out 20 grand to pay for the addition onto their other son's house, they can effing well help us out with the plumbing.
I have to go. Just know I am grateful to all of you for your support and please don't think I'm making this up, okay? This is just... That pipe may be original to the house (fifty years old) but it was FINE before the plumber and having him say "Oh I guess it was already cracked" just... The pictures on the walls were vibrating, that's how bad his machien was.... Shit.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

twinmom, sorry to hear of the hard time they are giving you at Addison's school. Why wouldn't they want her to get help...Makes no sense what-so-ever. I am glad that your therapist is nice. You surely need that. And furry friends there too. I would love that. Hang in there.

Blue, you are going through plenty! Fighting over dishes...good grief. That makes for major stress. You are dealing with PTSD stuff...you don't need any other headaches.

Angela, I'm so sorry you were treated so bad in school. I had one year like that. Three druggie guys gave me such a hard time. They all got kicked out of school the next year, so I didn't have to deal with them after that. Your pumpkin creamer sounds wonderful. I love pumpkin. I make a low fat mousse with pudding, pumpkin, cool whip, and spices. Yummy. Hope you feel better soon.

Well, I had my little eyelid surgery. I was treated the best that I ever have by both the nurse, and the surgeon. When the nurse found out I had fibro, she asked me if I would be ok with the chair leaning back for the procedure. She wanted me to be comfortable. She was super nice. The doctor explained everything as he was doing it, and was so kind. I did have a needle to the eyelid. That was not pleasant. But the nurse held my hand, and doctor kept calmly telling me to breathe. Gee, they were nice. Anyway, he does not think it's cancer, but said it was caused from sun exposure. They will call me next week with results. My eye is swollen and painful, now that the numbing stuff has worn off. I told hubby he could fend for himself for supper.

Now, I have to wait until early November to see if my ACL can be saved. Oh well, next up is,seeing my Internist to update her since the surgeon is in a different hospital system.
